FUCK ALL THIS AND MY WEIRD-ASS HEADCANON SHIT, WHY DID I EVER VOMIT THIS STUFF UP, I AM SUCH A WEIRDO. @_@;; I AM NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THIS BUT I AM POSTING THIS ANYWAY BECAUSE THIS HAS BEEN LYING AROUND FOR TOO DAMN LONG AND I'M KIND OF SICK OF THIS RECENT (FINAL?) DRAFT GATHERING COBWEBS AND DUSTBUNNIES. [/capslock raeg] Also, I probably shouldn't be writing a post-FM fic when I'm just barely at the halfway point of FM, but if you've played TSA (or read its Wikipedia article), y'all know how it ends anyway, and all that's left to do is futz around with is details — which you can remedy for this particular ficlet by reading through FM's big-ass Horizon arc if you haven't done so already.

Title is taken from "Wish I Had an Angel" by Nightwish. Awesome song, awesome band. Relevance of the song to the fic is up to y'all to decide. Also take care to swerve around the obligatory Vienna Teng song reference at the end as well, since Miss Teng is relevant to everything I do even if she isn't.

Uses the Beta themeset from 1sentence. Same other warnings as before: fanon oddities, AUs, what-ifs, yadda yadda. I had like half of this lying around for months before I picked it up again and vomited out the rest of it last night. I miss doing fanfic even though I’ve done so much worldbuilding in Soraverse that it almost qualifies as origfic anyway. And holy crap, I’ve really abused the semicolon in this one, looool. *sends the semicolon to rehab and therapy* Well, that, and the em-dash. But the em-dash should be used to it by now. Plus it's not abuse if the em-dash is screaming your name.

( She longs to hold his hand as they're walking the streets of Cerbera, but she knows he dislikes any gesture that might make him look 'weak' to the other predators in this urban jungle... )

Notes: Somehow a discussion with kiirobon about a certain story peculiarity in Bomberman Tournament ended up spawning the idea that TSA should be retold as a series of tweets. IDEK. The result is an inconsistent mix of "actual" events and things happening on Twitter, but whatever, RULE OF FUNNY. Wish I could be writing actual prose instead, but this is better than nothing.

Rating: PG-13.
Notes: Uses the Gamma themeset from the 1sentence community. I’ve had the idea to toy around with Reg/Shiro for a long while, but I blame nympharenfaull from dA for finally enabling this beast. *shakes fist* Also, having my laptop die on me and thus prevent me from accessing my other fic files probably played a role too. Watch out for the AU, WTFery, and the general Soraverse oddities you've probably come to expect by now. I'm not wholly satisfied with how this turned out (I ended up generating some thoughts about this ship that I wasn't able to work into these themes), but I still think I have some interesting stuff going on in here.

(  In the midst of a brawl in an underground fighting ring, Shiro catches sight of Regulus in the crowd, and accidentally lets his guard down; this leads to an impressive black eye, a bleeding nose, and a scolding from Regulus later on in the night for his carelessness. )

For certain reasons, I ended up re-watching this episode* of the first season of Sailor Moon, and was taking notes on the pacing of it that somehow turned into the mutant mashup of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, and [insert movie title here] in Fifteen Minutes. In fact, in re-transcribing my ttly l33t observations I'm going to borrow cleolinda's m15m format for this, since my usual script format doesn't work as well.

*Yes, it's the English dub. This is one of a handful of instances where, despite the cringe-worthy dubbing at times, I kind of prefer the dub over the sub. If only for the sheer nostalgia value.
